You are looking at Tales of the TMNT Vol.2 #71 3rd Revised Edition

Having lost rights to include Cerebus in their publications, for a long time Mirage Studios were unable to reprint TMNT Volume 1 #8, which actually was of much importance to the TMNT chronology. The issue included the first appearances of such characters as Renet and Savanti Romero. That's why in 2006 the story was remade into another one, not containing crossover with Cerebus. But the comic was only available in Spain, through Norma Editorial compilations (and later in Russia, by Illusion Studios). Now the English version is available as the Tales of the TMNT Vol.2 #71.

Story was done by Stephen Murphy (writer), Jim Lawson (pencils) and Eric Talbot (inks). The story actually turned out to be not a substitute for the original TMNT Vol.1 #8, but more of an addition - both stories may take place in the existing chronology, and don't contradict each other!

However, in 2009 Steve Murphy, creator of the series, has announced that “Forever War” is going to be released under the aegis of Mirage Studios. Despite the fact that he had been working on it for quite some time, it was decided that the story had to be totally rewritten and redrawn. It was supposed to be the one, true finale for the TMNT Adventures universe. Alas, the TMNT rights were sold to another party leaving fans devastated by the second cancellation.

And now, after so many years of emptiness, our hope is returning and it will finally be rewarded! The thing is, my dear friends, that we have at our disposal all EXISTED ORIGINAL material of “Forever War“, right out of 1995! And it’s FORTY pages long, 2 complete issues out of 5!

But that’s not all! We’ve finished this story and gave it a spectacular ending using everything we had. Not a single page was left out, not a single dialogue perished! The story is naturally embedded into the Archieverse and it explains EVERY SINGLE incomplete plot thread, which had existed since the dawn of the series!

Moreover, the incredible Chris Allan has agreed to finish this story with his own hands -- he illustrated this story from beginning to end! Also, additional 14 pages backup story drawn by Jim Lawson!

Book 1 (1994).

As a longtime fans most of you knows what TMNT comics has been published not only in US but also in many other countries -- and in some of them it were not just a reprints. One of the most rare foreign TMNT comics are Italian 'Le Tartarughe Ninja'.The key issue is that this comics didn't have their own TMNT series, but instead they has been published in a weekly 'fumetti' magazines founded in early XX century -- Corriero dei Piccoli (1990-1994) and Il Giornalino (1994-1998, 2005-2008).

Sadly, these comics will never be reprinted in USA officially because of many factors such as ancient license agreements between a companies which are not the right holders anymore... So, we're translated them into English on our own and relettered in a professional way. Because our main goal is find and tempt out of the shadows all existed TMNT comics from all over the world!

The Le Tartarughe Ninja Book 1 contains full collection of Il Giornalino TMNT comics from 1994.
This is the first book (of 4) in a comic series based on a mix of the 1987 animated series and the 1990-1993 movies.

As a longtime fans most of you knows what TMNT comics has been published not only in US but also in many other countries -- and in some of them it were not just a reprints. One of the most rare foreign TMNT comics are Italian 'Le Tartarughe Ninja'.The key issue is that this comics didn't have their own TMNT series, but instead they has been published in a weekly 'fumetti' magazines founded in early XX century -- Corriero dei Piccoli (1990-1994) and Il Giornalino (1994-1998, 2005-2008).

Sadly, these comics will never be reprinted in USA officially because of many factors such as ancient license agreements between a companies which are not the right holders anymore... So, we're translated them into English on our own and relettered in a professional way. Because our main goal is find and tempt out of the shadows all existed TMNT comics from all over the world!

The Le Tartarughe Ninja Book 2 contains full collection of Il Giornalino TMNT comics from 1995.
This is the second book (of 4) in a comic series based on a mix of the 1987 animated series and the 1990-1993 movies.

Have you ever wondered how the story of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the 1990-1993 Movies Trilogy could have continued? Not through soft "relaunches" like New Mutation or the 2007 TMNT feature film. But directly – in the most canonical way possible?

Imagine for a moment that the Movie 1993 threequel didn't flop at the box office... That Eastman's work on the fourth movie didn't go to waste… And finally, that New Line Cinema took the mistakes of the previous films and put a new sequel into production in 1994. Can you imagine? So...

Many months ago, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles defeated Shredder and saved New York City from rampant crime. Then Oroku Saki returned and was once again defeated by the Green Team… Since then, the Turtles have had many adventures and even traveled to Feudal Japan, but the final point in their fight against the Foot Clan has never been reached. And now the ghosts of the past are once again resurfacing, and Splinter's students face their most dangerous foe yet – their own Dark Legacy!
